About Cherry Hills Village

Cherry Hills Village was incorporated in 1945. About 6,400 people live across its six square miles, right on Denver’s southern border. Homes sit on large parcels, many an acre or more, along winding lanes lined with mature trees and split-rail fences.

A network of village trails, including a stretch of the historic High Line Canal, connects much of the city. Walkers, runners and riders use it all year.

01

Estate-scale living

Housing covers every era: mid-century ranches, classic Colorado traditionals, and new custom homes built to the edges of what the lot allows. Parcels are large and inventory is thin, so many purchases are as much about the land as the house on it. Valuing both separately is where careful pricing starts.

02

Golf, trails and open space

Cherry Hills Country Club has hosted the U.S. Open three times (1938, 1960 and 1978), the PGA Championship twice, and the 2005 U.S. Women’s Open. Beyond the club, the village trail system and the High Line Canal make it easy to cross the city on foot or horseback.

03

Schools in the village

Most of the city is in the Cherry Creek School District, and some areas are in Englewood Schools. Kent Denver School and St. Mary’s Academy, both independent schools, are also in the village. Always confirm boundaries for a specific address.
