About Greenwood Village

Greenwood Village was incorporated in 1950 and has about 15,700 residents across eight square miles. The city has two sides. West of I-25 are quiet residential areas with large lots, mature trees and trails. To the east is its share of the Denver Tech Center, with offices, hotels and restaurants.

That mix lets you live on a quiet lane with a short commute to the Tech Center, light rail and both interstates.

Two kinds of neighborhood

West of I-25, homes tend to be custom-built on generous lots, and some neighborhoods still have a rural, trail-connected feel. Closer to the Tech Center, townhomes and condominiums are a lower-maintenance option with the same address.

Getting out

The High Line Canal Trail runs through the city, and the city’s own parks and trails fill in the rest. Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, an 18,000-seat outdoor venue, books concerts all summer. RTD light rail stations, including Orchard, put downtown Denver within an easy ride.

Alex in Greenwood Village

Greenwood Village is one of Alex’s four focus markets. It’s a natural fit for buyers comparing Cherry Hills Village or Cherry Creek who want more land or an easier commute to the Tech Center.
